چکیده
In the last few decades, application of lightweight cold-formed composite steel–concrete structural systems has constantly been increasing within field engineering. This can be explained by efficient material usage, particularly noticeable when using built-up sections and innovative types shear connections. paper summarises an overview development floor systems. Additionally, it provides background, planned activities, preliminary results current LWT-FLOOR project, which is ongoing at University Zagreb, Faculty Civil Engineering, Croatia. The proposed system formed steel beams cast-in-place concrete slabs that are interconnected type connection. Preliminary analytical numerical on bending capacity presented. Obtained mutually comparable. resistance fixed beam solution governed beam, while pinned degree connection without influence increased number spot welds in beam.

Paper presents the main principals in designing wood-lightweight concrete composite floor structures using FEM models. All design-related analyses are performed by means of the FEA COSMOS/M program. Paper emphasises some important details in FEM model design (how to choose appropriate finite elements for different types of materials, how to connect concrete slab and timber beams to work togethe...
متن کاملInvestigation of the Progressive Collapse Potential in Steel Buildings with Composite Floor System
Abnormal loads due to natural events, implementation errors and some other issues can lead to occurrence of progressive collapse in structures. Most of the past researches consist of 2- Dimensional (2D) models of steel frames without consideration of the floor system effects, which reduces the accuracy of the modeling. While employing a 3-Dimensional (3D) model and modeling the concrete slab sy...
متن کاملDiaphragm Behavior of Deconstructable Composite Floor Systems
This study investigates the seismic behavior of deconstructable composite steel/concrete floor systems consisting of precast concrete planks and deconstructable clamping connections attaching the planks to the steel floor beams. The system is proposed to promote sustainable design of composite steel/concrete floor systems in steel buildings via reuse of the structural steel and concrete compone...
